Why join the NASC?

There has never been a better time to join the NASC. Access and Scaffolding is an important part of most contracts and both specifiers and contractors need to know they are receiving the highest quality of service. Consequently, many public and private organisations, and an increasing number of local authorities are now specifying that the Access providers they employ must be members of the NASC.

Direct benefits

Recognition

NASC membership will lift the profile of applicants by identifying them as a reputable company. For many clients such as main contractors and public authorities this could be the key to acceptance on tender lists.

Enquiries

The NASC receives enquiries direct from prospective clients due to its long-standing reputation. We are asked to provide nationwide details of Access & Scaffolding companies.

Information

Change is a constant factor for our members, whether from the construction industry, the economy or from government legislation. We provide up-to-the-minute information through our own regular newsletters, annual reviews and bulletins.

Publicity

The NASC Yearbook is the only publication of its kind, including a classified breakdown of the services provided by its members. It has an extensive circulation to local authorities, property owners, building contractors, and many other potential customers. Every individual member company is publicised through this medium.

Specialist Advice

NASC committees covering specialist areas such as technical standards and recruitment give members direct contact for advice. Regional committees: Scotland and Northern Ireland, the North and North Wales, the Midlands, the South West and South Wales, and London and the South East. Each provide a forum for discussion of regional issues and act as a link between members, the national council and specialist committees.

Contacts

Membership offers many opportunities to meet new contacts and exchange views. The Confederation reports to its members at annual meetings and there are also opportunities to be involved at a regional level.
