Objectives
The NASC commits to its members the following:
- To expand market share for its members
- To encourage and promote high standards of safety within the industry
- To promote high standards of training in the Industry and attract new recruits
- To provide essential services to assist members in the successful running of their businesses
- To provide expert information, both to members and to their clients about the Access and Scaffolding Industry
Obligations
NASC members must ensure that:
- Operatives are fully trained
- Health and Safety regulations are complied with
- Public and Employer's Liability Insurance cover is guaranteed
- All materials used conform to the highest standards, are regularly inspected and maintained
- Work is carried out in accordance with the relevant codes of practice
- All work is carried out by registered scaffolders and is adequately supervised
